The WHELF Colloquium returns to its spiritual home, Gregynog, for a two-day residential conference on the 27th and 28th of June.

The theme for the conference is “Reflect, Reset, Renew”. It will have a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities we have experienced, as well as work that crosses teams, institutions, and sectors.

Given the current financial climate, we have kept the cost of booking low to enable as many people as possible to attend, with full delegate attendance priced at £99.

Bursary Opportunities

The WHELF Colloquium Organising Committee are pleased to announce that due to generous funding from CILIP Wales’ Kathleen Cooks Fund we are offering several bursaries to attend the WHELF Colloquium this year at Gregynog Hall. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow information professionals in the beautiful surroundings of Gregynog Hall.

Who should apply?

· Early career professionals and those who have not previously attended a WHELF Colloquium, either face-to-face or online;

· Staff from under-represented groups in the library and information profession (such as the global majority);

· Next-generation professionals living in Wales, including those currently studying for a professional library or information qualification.

What does the bursary cover?

· Full delegate attendance at the conference

· Travel costs, up to £100
