WHELF Graduate Intern
WHELF is delighted to announce the appointment of Kia Duplock as a graduate intern. Kia has written a short bio to introduce herself:
I am the new WHELF graduate intern and based at Cardiff University. I will be involved in a project which aims to develop and deliver objectives that will support the WHELF Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Action Plan. Specifically, I will be delivering an analysis of the national student survey ‘Library Satisfaction Question’ against the protected characteristics of sex, race, and disability with the addition of domicile.
Last summer I graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Psychology and have recently spent a semester studying social psychology at the University of Helsinki. Alongside my studies, I have worked in a restaurant and a supermarket and have completed a teaching internship at a primary school in China. When not at work, I enjoy travelling, reading, and music.
I can be contacted at kia.duplock@southwales.ac.uk or duplockk@cardiff.ac.uk
Welcome Kia! We look forward to working with you and to seeing the outcomes from this important project.
