Welcome Sue. I’m not sure if this is the right place for this question but I’m sure that you will redirect it if it is not.We have recently been given a photograph, taken out side of the Pritchard Jones Hall, probably in 1915.
It relates to WW1 and is of ‘C’Company 11th Batt.South Lancs Reg. The St Helens Pals. We know that they were training in the Bangor Area and that there were six companies there. Are there any photographs of the other Companies in your Library?
We are involved in a research project which is supported by HLF Funding and we are trying to find any material which refers to The South Lancs Regiment’s stay in Bangor.
Please can you help.?
Thank you for your enquiry. I have forwarded it to Bangor University to see if they can help you further.
