UC&R Wales – Umbrella sponsorship opportunity

UC&R (Wales) are pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring a place
for full residential attendance at Umbrella 2009 for one member of UC&R
(Wales) who will be a first time attendee to an Umbrella event.

Umbrella 2009 takes place on 14-15 July at University of Hertfordshire,
Hatfield and offers you a unique experience to meet the UK library
community, discuss issues affecting your future and improve your

Applying for a sponsored place:
If you would like to be considered for a sponsored place at Umbrella
2009, please write a short statement, approximately 300 words,
describing how you would benefit from attendance at this year’s event.

The successful applicant will have to write a short report on the
conference, suitable for inclusion in Relay or the website, to be
submitted to UC&R (Wales) Committee. Part or all of the report may be
used for publicity purposes.

Your statement should be received by 29th May 2009.  Please send as an
