The University wishes to appoint a Professor of Digital Humanities and Head of the University Library to lead the development of research and income-generating opportunities linked to the digital humanities. This post offers an exciting opportunity for innovation and creativity linked to the digital humanities and a unique opportunity to develop a research programme linked with the Roderic Bowen Library and Archives – one of the best University special collections of printed books and medieval manuscripts within the university sector. The successful candidate will be expected to work with the University’s strategic partners in this area both within the UK and internationally. The post holder will also manage the University’s libraries and provide strategic guidance and leadership across the University’s range of learning, teaching and research resources.
