Academic Book Week celebrates the diversity, innovation and influence of academic books in all their forms and will be taking place from the 23rd-28th January 2017. In support of this event WHELF will be holding a workshop on the theme of “The Academic Book of the Past/The Academic Book of the Future: the Role of Special Collections in Academic Libraries and beyond”, at the British Library on Wednesday 25th January from 10:30am-12:30pm. It will be led by Sue Hodges, Chair of WHELF and Director of Libraries & Archives at Bangor University and Emma Adamson, Vice Chair of WHELF and Director of Learning Services at the University of South Wales.
