“This week a few interested persons got together and we decided to try and move the idea of an all Wales cataloguing group forward … We have some ideas for some training, and some discussion, sessions which we will be promoting on this blog in the future. It is hoped that we will be able to liaise with others across Wales to provide sessions elsewhere, or to promote sessions that others may organise themselves.

This blog will promote events and training sessions, it will contain write-ups of those events; we can also feature guest posts on various cataloguing projects, or perhaps some ‘day in the life’ accounts. If you’d like to write a post for us please get in touch! CataloguersinWales@gmail.com

We are also in the process of setting up a Jiscmail list to provide a better forum for discussions, which we will tell you about in due course.”
