The Y Bont public access area within the Welsh Assembly Government office in Llandudno Junction is hosting a new PATLIB Intellectual Property Information Centre – the only one of its kind within Wales.

PATLIB Llandudno Junction will be a welcome addition to the Europe-wide network.

Deputy Minister for Science, Innovation and Skills Lesley Griffiths will officially launch the facility on the 17th March.

Maria Lampert from the British Library who chairs the UK Patent Library Network will be giving a presentation on Business Information and Patents.

2:30 – Welcome in Y Bont An opportunity to view the Public Access area and see the facilities within the Llandudno Junction office
2:50- Presentation Maria Lampert from the British Library and chair of the UK PATLIB network will give a talk on business information and patents including an opportunity for Q&A.
3:35 – Presentation Nia Roberts Intellectual Property Manager for the Welsh Assembly Government will talk about Patents including an opportunity for Q&A
4:10 – Refreshments in Y Bont An opportunity to network, try out the resources and test your knowledge on Patents and Intellectual Property
4:30 – Official Launch Deputy Minister for Science, Innovation and Skills Lesley Griffiths to officially launch PATLIB Llandudno Junction
