“Moving Beyond Journals and APCs – Innovative Approaches to Open Access”

This timely event, held within Academic Book Week, will be a forum to discuss innovative Open Access academic publishing ventures. It is open to library staff and other interested people from HEIs in Wales and South-West England.

Speakers from Cardiff University will introduce the ambitions for Cardiff University Press, and invited speaker Dr Caroline Edwards will showcase the strategy behind the Open Library of Humanities. A structured discussion will then allow attendees to examine in more depth the new models and ideas put forward in the presentations.

A buffet lunch will be provided for registered attendees.  Please inform the organiser if you have any special dietary requirements.
